The password for your HedgerX account consists of two parts: the login password and the trading password.
Before resetting either password, please note that changing any of them will temporarily restrict cryptocurrency and fiat withdrawals for 24 hours and suspend your account’s payment functions.
1. If you are already logged in to your account
You can change both your login and trading passwords by following these steps:
Step 1:
On the HedgerX Exchange homepage, click the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select “Security Center.”
Step 2:
From there, you can choose to change your login password or trading password.
To change your login password, enter your old and new passwords in the respective fields, then submit.
To change your trading password, enter your new password (a 6-digit numeric PIN) and the email verification code, then submit.
2. If you forgot your login password and cannot log in
You can reset your login password directly by following these steps:
Step 1:
On the HedgerX Exchange login page, click “Forgot Password.”
Step 2:
Enter the email address or phone number you used to register your HedgerX account, then click “Next.”
Step 3:
Enter the verification code sent to your email or phone, along with your new login password.
(For better security, we recommend using a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.)
These are the two available password reset methods.
Once again, please note that changing any type of password will temporarily restrict all cryptocurrency and fiat withdrawals for 24 hours and pause your payment functions.
The system will display reminders during the process.
You have now successfully reset your HedgerX Exchange account password.You can log in or trade using your new password.
